Like many others I really enjoyed this story. I have gone to the beginning and read from there. I am attached to the characters and find the writer talented...
That said, I am ready for an "end". I would love to see this wrap up with K happy in whatever the situation may be and perhaps continuing with Sarah's story or something entirely unrelated.
Do I recomend this blog? No. Why? Becuase if you start now I think the history would be lost in her story and definatly needs to be read. So if your willing to go to the beginning and read thru...they def. check it out!

I used to love this blog. I was at work when I discovered it a few years ago, and I spent several days reading. I still check the posts and read when there are new ones, but there is no posting schedule. Everything seems to be random, and the storyline seems to be going nowhere. The posts as of late have been rather boring. I would either like to see the blog becoming interesting again, or I would like to see it die. I wouldn't recommend reading unless you have time to devote to the history, and if you do, I think you would become irritated by the direction the blog has gone.

I love this blog and I guess always will even though I agree I don't like the direction it is going. I don't want to see it die, but it does need a boost. The main charactor K could always settle down and have children. I know it is a dating blog, but dating eventually leads to marriage and children and there is a lot of drama in family life. It's just time to mature into something else or end and start over with a new charactor straight out of college. That maybe a good idea, maybe a cousin of K's of something like that. Anyhoo I would recommend this blog but you need to start at the beginning it will take a long time to get up to present but the older posts are really, really good. I also enjoy the comment section, sometimes there is unnecessary drama in the comments but mostly it is like being in an online book club and I enjoy reading everyones opinions and even the tidbits of personal issues that come up.

I used to really love this blog. But K. has a tendency to annoy me lately and I haven't liked any of the guys she has dated since Brandon.
ReplyDeleteI would like for K. to settle down and "pass the torch" to someone else. K.'s dating adventures have been fun but it's the same old story with her.
I used to love this blog too, and I think that everyone that has been reading from the beginning (I started when it used to be in the magazine) and it did used to be steamy and exciting. Now, it's just slow and annoying and even though so many of us see K as this real person, the character herself is becoming quite annoying. I agree with your guy's opinion about the blog and the fact it should find a way to end.
ReplyDeleteI started reading BB at least 5-6 years ago. It goes through its ups and downs and I alternately hate it and love it. After awhile K's stupidity gets to me and then I think, what the heck? It is a fictional blog, just let it go.
